![]() The xenomorph in A:I required you to constantly stay on the move, but that will get you killed here from what I've noticed. In fact I think hiding is encouraged as the length the beast patrols seems to be entirely dependent on how much noise you make in the dark, and even slowly crawling along seems to cause it to linger longer. The biggest difference I've seen is that if you stay put in one spot, unlike in Alien Isolation, the beast will not always eventually find you and kill you, even on Hard. Originally posted by Neonwarrior:I think not. I've noticed the beast is perfectly capable of following you through level transitions, so I'm not sure if the beast is capable of being lured to different zones yet (I suspect not). Sometimes I've hid in a closet near the beast whilst making no noise for what feels like at least 10 minutes only for the beast to never go away, and other times I've walked right through a section in the dark, jumped around and pushed boxes and barrels with not even a peep from the beast (to be fair this is rare). In this regard the Xenomorph in A:I was far easier to read and understand. ![]() I've noticed patterns with the beast's growling and the noises it makes but I've yet to decipher exactly what the game's telling me. I'd love to know for sure, but it does seem like using the flashlight makes Sir Growls Alot come out to play far more quickly.
